Forget the Selfies-Your Photo Guide 4 Hours

Your Photo Tour

This adventure is yours to design, with an experienced guide to get amazing views and photos of Whidbey Island. It is an all inclusive 5.5 hours, is intended for either 1 or 2 persons, but a 3rd is possible, the price is the same. A meal is included (described below).

The Island is 55 miles long.  The pick up locations are the three ferries: Clinton (south), Coupeville (west), and Anacortes (or Deception Pass area) (north). The Deception Pass pickup location is actually in Anacortes or LaConner, depending on your direction. These locations provide an immediate and convenient way to start.

The trip is not cheap compared to a kayak or whale watching, I understand that, and strive to exceed your expectations and provide a unique sensory trip. My guests appreciate going to unique, quiet, non-tourist locations. This is your day to develop and enjoy.

If you are a photo buff with great equipment, I look forward to your experiences.  You will be able to craft a scene or situation of particular interest. For the standard cellphone camera user, you will take brilliant shots. The advantage of me guiding is I know the level of the tide at the next harbor, where are the animals likely to be,  and where the locals have eggs for sale at driveways. We are quiet, calm, and nonintrusive. We will take only photos and leave only footprints (or less...).

A meal at a local place is included, we'll decide in route somewhere, to optimize time. We go in my car, stocked with binoculars, monocular, bottled water, snacks, sunscreen, bug screen, USB chargers, jackets or weather gear, walking sticks and Tylenol. If you want to have trail walk at one or more locations, I have the maps, State Park permits, etc.

The trip needs 48 hours advance booking, and we will confer about your needs. I block the entire day so need to have it cancelled 24 hours in advance if you can’t make it. There is a page about “Guest Criteria” which you should read, so that we are aligned in our understanding of a good tour together.
